Thursday Top Ten

Well, I was going to do a Tuesday top ten, but I procrastinate.

Here are some songs that have been in my rotation fairly frequently lately. You may see a trend here (My Morning Jacket just released a new album, so a couple of those are definitely on the list)

In no particular order

1) The Grateful Dead - Scarlet Begonias ("Once in a while you are shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right")
2) My Morning Jacket - I'm Amazed (I'm amazed...by their entire new album)
3) The Flaming Lips - Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell (ahh...one of my favorites)
4) My Morning Jacket - Touch Me I'm Going to Scream pt. 2 ("Oh, this feeling is wonderful...don't you ever turn it off")
5) Chromeo - You're So Gangster (watch the video. for real.)
6) The Grateful Dead - Ripple (one of the few songs that will put me in a good mood no. matter. what.)
7) The Grateful Dead - Estimated Prophet (I'm reading their history. Can you tell? Haha)
8) MGMT - Electric Feel (OOH GIRL. Shock me like an electric eel!)
9) The Raconteurs - Old Enough (saw them at Bonnaroo...they blew me completely away)
10) MGMT - Time To Pretend ("Yeah it's overwhelming, but what else can we do? Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?"
